Part of your world

I am so glad to be on board the ship again! The dresses I am forced to wear here on the surface (and in my dress shop!) are so uncomfortable. They may be beautiful, but I do miss my old shells I used to wear.

On my way to Treno to continue my piracy, I stopped off in Atlantica to see my sisters and father. They were very glad to see me, and saw past my just up and leaving them for the world above. They welcomed me with open arms, and I am so glad to have family like that! :D They now accept my decision, since I've told them how well I am doing, and how happy I am. I told them about being a pirate, and luckily they don't understand what that is, but they are happy I get to be out in the sea, where my father "knows I am safe." He's so protective! I love Daddy.

All of my fish friends were happy to see me too, and it was nice having more than just one friend, and one or two acquaintances like I have on land. But it's okay to start making new friends, and I am so glad I have met the few people that I have! I'm really hoping this experience as a pirate helps me to adapt more to the humans I now live with, and as one myself!

I must get going, the Captain has called us up for an announcement!

Under the sea I always loved the holidays. Everyone would pool together their pearls (of course in the castle this wasn't that hard) and we'd string them all over for the new year. My father would make a fantastic light show with his triton and we would sing and sway (you can't dance much without legs!) in welcome of a fresh start.

The boat was nothing like that! It's nice to have some "shore leave" and see the surface displays of holiday cheer. But...

it's still not like home. I miss the sea. A bit.
This is my new home now.

How has everyone's new year started, so far?

Oh gosh! I haven't writen in so long! I've been spending time with Jasmine running around town and the like.

But I am leaving to become a pirate today!

I think...I'm going to be a pirate!
I hope Captain Sparrow allows me passage on his ship! That would be great!
And I've made a new friend, her name is Jasmine. She seems really cool : ]!

Oh maybe she'll go on the ship with me! Oh wow! Jasmine, if you're reading this, you should talk to Captain Jack, and maybe we can stop in Alexandria and pick you up! Or...something? I don't know anything about being on a ship. Or traveling this world above the water.

Anyway, just thought I'd talk about how cool I think this trip will be (if it happens.) Does anyone know what "pillaging" and "plundering" means? Captain Sparrow said that's what we'd be doing on the boat, and I feel I should be ready for whatever it means!

I went to the dress shop today, and talked to the girl that works there. She was very nice, though she stared at me funny a lot : / I guess asking her "How can I have a dress?" was a funny question. She gave me a job and taught me how to take money and put the dresses into boxes! And she also gave me a dress! Now I can sell what I'm wearing, and not feel totally strange in this town.

I've also checked myself into an inn with the money I made today in the dress shop. It has a great view of the beach!

Everything is looking up! ♥

So, I've found I'm in a place called Port Royal. It's lovely here! I'm really enjoying the sunshine, and seeing the ocean from above the water. I really need to find some new clothes, but I'm not sure how to get to some. I went into a place filled with dresses today as I was discovering the town, and they wanted something called "money" for the dresses. I believe that this is some sort of trading. I need to get this money, so then I can get a dress! They're gorgeous, I like the way they look much better than shells and fins.

Oh gosh. I'm just trying so hard to understand these new legs, and new customs. I'm loving living above the sea. I don't have much time to talk now, I need to find a glass of water!
